Wow, I never knew that people did not know how to run properly.
I used to run for my schools teams and would run to friend’s places all the time.
I guess running/ walking a lot barefoot helps, like you say. I used to do that a lot when I was a kid and it just becomes natural.

Food before workouts: carrot, half a cup of oats, water, apple. (At least 1 hour before.)
Food after workouts: water, banana, kiwifruit, 2x sandwiches, dried fruit & Nuts.
If I know I have a big run coming up I’ll overeat 2 days before, then eat normally the day before. And eat light on the day of the run.
i went for a run for the first time in 10 years, and my hip hurts, i do slam down on my heels when i run also hahaha, thanks for the info. after work out food, i would say water and grapes.
